I can spin that black dot around time after time and nothing happens, no water flow anywhere. Now today, figuring I would run one more set of regens, I am unable to start a manual regen. I ran a manual regen with both tanks and called it a night. Put it all back together and to my amazement, it worked. Using all the helpful advice within this forum, I took it apart (all levels down to the tanks) and cleaned it out the best I could. I figured a tear-down and cleaning was in order. The other day I discovered it was constantly backwashing (I believe) in all manual settings. The water has slowly been worse, to the point where I don't think its doing anything (rust in all fixtures almost immediately after cleaning). The last month or two have been a different story. The house had been vacant for a few months, but to my surprise the system seemed to be working well, so I kept up with the salt and let it do its thing. I've been up and down these forums for the past few days and I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.Īlong with the house I purchased earlier last year came a Kinetico Model 60 with the tan colored tanks.
